This blog is also a product of an assignment given by instructors from IPSAH (Institut Perguruan Sultan Abdul Halim). Here, blogging is introduced as one of the ways of teaching in which consultation is done through Internet. By blogging, it is hoped that teachers can prepare another source of information for students to understand their teaching, to acquire notes from missed T&L sessions and to revel in a new way of communicating and learning with their students.
After this course ends, we are required to use one or more of these tools to teach. Some of the tools introduced are MindJet MindManager, VideoCutter, SnagIt, YouTube homepage and downloader, Microsoft Publisher, Windows MovieMaker and how to use Sound Recorder. Me and fellow participants take these as knowledge, leaving the question on implementation at the end of the course. For now, let's enjoy the stuff. With plenty of backdated jobs await at school, plus the sanctioned shares of burden as outlined in school Taqwim Tahunan Guru 2008, questions of effective teaching with these tools, hopefully could be ironed out before 15th August, the very last day.
